30 Days Guild Wars 2 Challenge

Day 02 - The biggest jerk you’ve dealt with (in game)?
Hmm, there’s been 1 or 2. I like to level in Queensdale, so when I make a new character I always go straight to where the champion troll spawns, regardless of my level. Well this one time I was level 2 or something and had trouble getting past bandits and I died before I had a chance to get a nearby waypoint, so I asked the mapchat if if some nice person nearby would just come res me, and some person responded calling me a pussy and a bitch and I should stop QQing and quit guild wars and go to bed. Honestly no idea what I did to aggravate this person so much but jesus, they would not let up. I stopped responding after my first response because it was clear it was just a huge troll who gets hardons from slabbering to people over the internet. What a douchebag.
There has also been a number of times with a relentless troll who was constantly trying to get reactions out of people on mapchat. Every half hour or so he’s ask “Any christians online?” or “Any muslims” etc etc, and if any responded he would ask them why they still love their mum for forcing their religions on them or some shit and why don’t they just kill themselves. Ah, what a nice bloke.

I promised I’d show some progress of the Sylvari costumes, so here we are! :D
First picture is Faolain’s skirt all cut out and pinned into place for the first time. It took a lot of tweaking and even more patterning to get all the right shapes, but at last I could cut the materials and swoosh around in her epic skirt <3 It weighs a ton *__*
The next picture is of the front flaps of the skirt all cut out into the butterfly pattern she has. I’ll be sandwiching another fabric inbetween the layers so light can shine through (since Faolain’s dress also lights up in-game). Yes, there will be lights in the dress as well. :)
Third row of pictures is a little sneak peak of what I’ll be wearing underneath. First is my shirt, that’ll function as skincolour for everything that is not my face. It’s really strange to wear a shirt that also covers your hands xD Then next to that is the underskirt. I didn’t want to make an ‘ordinary’ crinoline, because we are making Sylvari after all. So I made a lot of “petals” from chiffon and layered those. So, if my dress for some reason shows the underskirt, it’ll still be all flowery goodness underneath. :)
Last row is Caithe’s hair so far. I swear it’s trying to kill me, but we’re getting there, slowly.
So finally things are coming along and hopefully the process will speeds up significantly in the coming weeks. Not much time left, but we’ve got all our methods finally figured out so it’s just hard work ahaead of us. :D I’m excited! Can’t wait to finally FINALLY wear Faolain. <3
